Flanders Lace Class 2002

On April 26, 27, & 28, 2002 the Bluebonnet Lacers from Nacogdoches, TX hosted a Flanders Lace Class. The workshop was held at the home of Ruth Hickman Nacogdoches, TX. We were honored to have Jeannette come from the Netherlands to teach us Flanders Lace techniques
from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. each day.

Three of our local guild members attended the class. Carol (President), Trish (Vice President) & Gloria (our most enthusiastic lacer). It was a real privilege having someone so knowledgeable take the time to pass on this lovely art form.

We really enjoyed the classes and learned many new things. The turn out was great and we hope that she will return to the US next year for another lace class.
